Tijdens beide conservatorium studie’s heeft Hans de nodige tijd besteed aan het bestuderen en maken van arrangementen. Lessen hiervoor heeft hij o.a. gevolgd bij: Jan Wessels, Rik Elings en Joan Reinders. Hans heeft inmiddels arrangementen geschreven voor verschillende bezettingen:
- Blaasorkest
- Blazerssectie
- Pop band
- Bigband
- Fanfare orkest
- Symfonie orkest
Hans werkt als arrangeur voornamelijk in opdracht. Voor CD en TV opnamen worden regelmatig arrangementen voor blazerssectie gevraagd welke vaak ook worden vertolkt met zijn eigen sectie Holy Horns. (Kijk bij discografie voor credits)
